The iFix® Interference Screw System was the first self-tapping polyetheretherketone (PEEK) interference screw developed for Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) reconstruction procedures using the bone-patellar tendon-bone. The iFix® System’s advanced technology and unique material provides solutions to surgeons without the limits of today’s interference screws. iFix® is manufactured using PEEK-OPTIMA®, a non-absorbable polymer that is highly biocompatible, biomechanically strong and radiolucent. PEEK-OPTIMA® has over a decade of proven success in orthopedics and, combined with the iFix® System’s innovative design, is an ideal material for ACL fixation.
